I created a system where we generate QR CODES which are tied to the Dropbox system. Anyone can scan these codes with a smart phone but they are protected by password only the crew knows. We use one for graphics, one for drawings. Each building is numbered and relates to the site plan, which we also print large like a way finding map at the start of town

Nothing will replace hard paper copies of drawings, but this certainly helps when people are in the field.
