I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to both set design and art direct this build. It was my first time truly art directing a set from start to finish, which made it a particularly memorable one.

We ran night crews for four weeks to get everything completed, and the lighting elements were especially fun to work through. One of the main sets of neon wasn’t fully functioning, so during filming we had to physically swap working neon between different shooting directions.

It was a good lesson in redundancy—I’ve made sure to order an extra set of neon ever since.
